Model Homes

The Sandlewood is a two-story classic colonial home with a maintenance-free exterior, granite countertops, pre-finished oak hardwood floors, and extensive crown molding.

Our model homes illustrate the classic architecture and quality building that Ford's Colony Rocky Mount has to offer. The Sandlewood, a 3,283 sq. ft. Southern Living home, represents classic Colonial Architecture. While The Manor Park, a 3,058 sq. ft. home from our Southern Heritage Collection, showcases our low maintenance Allée homes, which feature rear access for the garage and other services.

The Manor Park is one of our allée style homes. This home features hickory hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, exotic Eucalyptus wood kitchen cabinetry, a large covered veranda, and a brick exterior.

Best of all, both homes are furnished by the WILLIAMSBURG Design Studio, including WILLIAMSBURG® furniture by Stickley and Nichols & Stone. The Model Homes reflect refined tastes of early America inside and out.

You find solid wood furniture with design details inspired by the 18th century throughout the homes. Many of the fabric selections for window treatments, bedding, furniture and accents come from the WILLIAMSBURG Reserve Collection. This premium-quality line, which comprises authentic reproductions and adaptations of antiques in Colonial Williamsburg's collections, has served as the WILLIAMSBURG brand's cornerstone for generations.

Sales of WILLIAMSBURG products support the research, preservation and educational programs of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, which oversees the restored colonial capital where period buildings, costumed interpreters and world-class museums bring history to life. For each couple that tours our homes, Ford's Colony will make a donation to The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
